Data Deletion

Last updated: July 2026

MediPip is developed by Ozar Tech Corp. Because MediPip stores everything locally on your iPhone, deleting your data is fast, complete, and entirely in your hands. There is no waiting period, no request form, and no server-side retention. For more on how your data is handled while you use the app, see our Privacy Policy.

What gets deleted

When you delete your MediPip data, the following are permanently removed from your device:

How to delete your data

Option 1 — Delete all data from inside MediPip:

  1. Open MediPip
  2. Go to the Settings tab
  3. Scroll to the Data section
  4. Tap "Delete All Data"
  5. Confirm by typing DELETE when prompted

This action cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your data is wiped instantly from the app's local storage. Note: this does not cancel an active Premium subscription — that's managed separately through your Apple ID (see Option 3 below).

Option 2 — Delete a single medication:

  1. Open MediPip
  2. Tap the medication you want to remove
  3. Tap the "⋯" menu in the top right
  4. Select "Delete Medication"
  5. Confirm

This removes the medication and all of its dose history. Other medications are unaffected.

Option 3 — Delete the app entirely:

  1. Long-press the MediPip icon on your home screen
  2. Tap "Remove App"
  3. Tap "Delete App" to confirm

Deleting the app removes all MediPip data from your device, including the local database, scheduled notifications, and widget configurations. Premium subscriptions remain active through your Apple ID until cancelled in Settings.

What about backups?

If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or a computer, a copy of MediPip's local data may exist inside that backup. To fully remove MediPip data from backups, delete the data inside MediPip before the next backup runs. We cannot delete data from your iCloud backups — that is under your control via Apple's settings.

What about Apple's records?

If you purchased MediPip Premium, Apple retains a record of the transaction tied to your Apple ID. This record is governed by Apple's privacy policy and cannot be deleted by us. To manage Apple's records, contact Apple directly.

What about exported files?

If you previously exported a CSV or PDF from MediPip, that file lives wherever you saved it — typically the Files app, a cloud drive, or a message thread. Deleting MediPip data inside the app does not delete previously exported files. You must locate and delete those files manually.

Data migration safety

If MediPip's database schema changes in an update, the app automatically creates a backup of your old data before migrating. This backup is stored locally on your device. To remove it, simply use "Delete All Data" as described above after the migration completes successfully.

Confirmation

Once you delete data using any method above, it is gone. We have no way to recover it — because we never had it in the first place. There is no undo, no restore window, and no server-side copy.
