MediPip is built privacy-first. This policy explains exactly what we do — and, more importantly, what we don't do — with your information.
1. The short version
We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal health data. Everything you enter into MediPip — medications, dosages, dose logs, schedules, streaks — lives locally on your iPhone. We do not operate any servers that process your data.
2. Who we are
MediPip is developed and published by Ozar Tech Corp, a company based in Texas, USA. Ozar Tech Corp is the entity responsible for MediPip and for this privacy policy.
3. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information through MediPip. Specifically:
- No account required. MediPip does not ask you to create an account, log in, or provide an email address.
- No health data leaves your device. Medication names, dosages, schedules, and dose logs are stored in the app's local sandbox on your iPhone.
- No analytics or tracking. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or cross-app tracking.
- No crash reporting that identifies you. If we add crash reporting in the future, it will be strictly anonymized and opt-in.
4. Information Apple may process
If you purchase MediPip Premium, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple. Apple may collect transaction identifiers, receipts, and subscription status — all governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We receive only an anonymized confirmation that a purchase was made. We never see your payment method. Subscriptions can be viewed, managed, or canceled at any time from your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
5. Notifications
MediPip schedules local notifications on your device to remind you to take medications. These notifications are configured and delivered entirely through iOS's local notification system. Notification content (medication name and time) is generated on your device and is never transmitted to us.
6. Widgets
Home screen and Lock screen widgets display your medication data locally. Widget content is read from the same on-device data store as the app. No widget data is transmitted anywhere.
7. Data export
If you choose to export your dose history as CSV or your reports as PDF, the generated file is saved to a location you choose (such as your Files app or a share sheet). Once exported, the file is outside MediPip's control — please handle it with the care any health document deserves.
8. Data deletion
You can delete all of your MediPip data at any time from Settings → Delete All Data. This action is irreversible and removes every medication, dose log, and setting from your device. See our Data Deletion page for details.
9. Your privacy rights
Because MediPip does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to us, there is no data on our servers for us to access, correct, delete, or export on your behalf — all of it already lives entirely on your device, under your control, at all times. If your local law (such as the CCPA or GDPR) grants you rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, those rights are inherently satisfied on-device: you can view, edit, or permanently delete everything yourself at any time from within the app. If you have questions about how these rights apply to you, contact us using the details in Section 13.
10. Children's privacy
MediPip is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Because the app does not require an account and does not transmit any information to us, we have no practical means of verifying a user's age. If you believe a child has used the app and you have concerns, please contact us — though as noted above, we do not have access to any information the app does not transmit.
11. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy in a material way, the updated policy will be available here and in the app. Because we do not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly — please review this page periodically.
